I have summarized and read the three scholarly articles that I chose and learned a lot that I didn't already know about. I learned a lot about the different kinds of abuse, like I discussed in the last blog, but I also learned that elder abuse doesn't just happen in the nursing homes. It also happens with families such as financial and neglect. That was very surprising to me to find out because I always just though that elder abuse was just in the nursing homes or by the caretakers. I learned all I needed to know about my research, so there aren't any holes in my study.
